The Network of Organizations for Transparency and Budget Analysis (Réseau des Organisations pour la Transparence et l’Analyse Budgétaire (ROTAB Publiez Ce Que Vous Payez  Niger)) is a group of various associations, NGOs and labor unions in Niger which have decided to pool their knowledge and experience and play an active role in the worldwide Publish What You Pay campaign.  This positive initiative is based on transparency in the extractive industry.    However, the lack of transparency in matters of exploiting the country’s natural resources has clearly been established.  Indeed, despite decades of marketing the proceeds generated by this industry and the use made of these funds remain unclear.

ROTAB Publish What You Pay is the result the will of numerous civil society organizations in Niger to change this situation and bring true transparency to the industry.  This will help strengthen democracy and good governance.
